Terms of Service
1.About these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of docme.pro, our apps, and every service offered by DocMe LTD, company no. 517331823 (“DocMe”, “we”), including DocMe AI, DocMe Books, DocMeDocs, DocMe Sign, DocMe Flow, the API and MCP server, bookkeeping services, and credit card processing (together, the “Services”).
By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy below. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. The Services are intended for businesses and for people aged 18 or over; if you accept these Terms on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
2.The Services and AI output
The Services use artificial intelligence and automated processing to read documents, extract data, and suggest or create journal entries, reports, and documents. Automated output may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and approving every result before you rely on it, report it, or send it to a third party or any authority.
DocMe is a software provider. Unless we have signed a separate written agreement for a bookkeeping service, nothing in the Services is accounting, tax, or legal advice. You alone are responsible for your books, your filings, and your obligations to the Tax Authority and any other authority, including keeping records for as long as the law requires.
3.Your account
Keep your login details confidential - you are responsible for all activity under your account. Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. If you suspect unauthorised use, tell us immediately at contact@docme.pro.
4.Subscriptions, retainers and payment
Paid plans are subscriptions. Unless a plan states otherwise, a subscription - including a retainer for an ongoing service - is a recurring monthly payment, charged in advance at the start of each billing period, that renews automatically every month until you cancel it. If you choose annual billing, the full year is charged in advance.
Prices are in Israeli shekels and exclude VAT, which is added at the rate set by law. Usage above your plan's allowance (for example, additional documents) is charged at the published rates.
You authorise us and our payment providers to charge your payment method for every amount due. If a payment fails, we may suspend the Services until the account is settled, and unpaid amounts may bear interest and collection costs as permitted by law.
We may change our prices. A price change applies from the billing period after we notify you, and continuing to use the Services after that means you accept it. Free trials are offered at our discretion, may be ended at any time, and continued use after a trial requires a paid plan.
5.Cancellation and refunds - 14 days only
You may cancel a new purchase within 14 days of the transaction and receive a refund of the amount paid, less a cancellation fee of 5% of the transaction price or ₪100, whichever is lower, and less charges for usage consumed in that period (such as additional documents and processing fees).
After 14 days, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods and for unused allowances or features. You may cancel a subscription at any time: cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the billing period already paid.
To cancel, email contact@docme.pro or use the cancellation option in your account, where available. Nothing here limits any right you have under mandatory law, including the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, where it applies to you.
6.Credit card processing
If you use our credit card processing service, your customers' card payments are processed through licensed acquirers and payment service providers we work with. Activation is subject to their approval and their terms, which form part of your agreement for this service.
Processing fees and related charges are not fixed. They are set by DocMe and/or its processing partners and may change from time to time, including following changes by card companies, acquirers, or banks. It is your responsibility to actively check the fees in effect - by contacting us or checking the rates we publish - before and while you use the service. Processing a transaction after a change means you accept the updated fees.
Processing fees are charged per transaction and are non-refundable, even if a transaction is cancelled, refunded, or disputed. The 14-day refund policy does not apply to them.
You are the seller in every transaction: you are responsible for the goods and services you sell, for issuing tax documents, for refunds to your customers, and for complying with the law and card network rules. DocMe is not a party to transactions between you and your customers.
You are liable for every chargeback, reversal, fine, and fee connected to your transactions. We and our partners may delay, hold, or offset amounts due to you, require security, or suspend or terminate the processing service where we suspect fraud, unusual risk, or a breach.
7.Acceptable use
You may not use the Services:
- for any unlawful purpose, or to issue false or misleading documents;
- to upload content you have no right to, or that infringes the rights of others;
- to harm, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Services;
- to resell the Services without our written consent.
8.Your content and data
You keep ownership of the documents and data you upload (“Your Content”). You grant DocMe a licence to host, copy, process, and analyse Your Content as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Services.
You confirm you hold every right and consent needed for the content you upload, including personal data of your customers, employees, and suppliers. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of records the law requires you to keep.
9.Third-party services
The Services connect to third parties - for example WhatsApp, Telegram, AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, bookkeeping software, and the Tax Authority's systems. Their availability and conduct are outside our control, their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for them.
10.Intellectual property
The Services, the software, the models and rules we develop, the design, and the DocMe brand belong to DocMe or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services during your subscription, and nothing more. We may use any feedback you send us freely.
11.Limitation of liability
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted or error-free, that they suit a particular purpose, or that automated output will be accurate or complete.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocMe is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages, loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, or for fines, penalties, interest, or tax assessments arising from the use of the Services or reliance on their output.
DocMe's total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amounts you actually paid DocMe for the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12.Indemnity
You will indemnify DocMe, its directors, employees, and suppliers against any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, Your Content, your transactions with your customers, or your breach of these Terms or of the law.
13.Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or where the law requires it or it is needed to protect the Services or others.
Your Content may be deleted 30 days after your account is closed, unless the law requires us to keep it - so export what you need beforehand. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
14.Changes to the Services and these Terms
We may change, add, or remove features and discontinue any part of the Services. We may update these Terms at any time, including prices and fees, by publishing the updated version on this page with a new date. For material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email or in the Services. Continuing to use the Services after an update takes effect means you accept it.
15.Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed solely by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force, and not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. If the Hebrew and English versions differ, the Hebrew version prevails.
