# DocMe AI (דוקמי AI)

> DocMe AI is an Israeli AI platform for document management and automatic bookkeeping. An AI agent reads invoices, receipts and other business documents, identifies the vendor, extracts the data and builds complete double-entry journal entries - ready to approve and send to the bookkeeping software the business already uses (Rivhit, Atzmait, Hashavshevet, Priority and more). How it works:

1. Upload a document - drag a PDF, image or scan into the web interface, or send it by email, WhatsApp, Telegram or the DocMe mobile app.
2. AI reading and analysis - every line is read; vendor, amounts, dates and VAT are identified.
3. Journal entry - DocMe builds a full entry with debit and credit accounts, net amount, VAT, currency and exchange rate, according to the Israeli double-entry standard. Every line includes account, amount, type (debit/credit), references and allocation number.
4. Approve and export - review, approve with one click, and export to Excel, PDF or your bookkeeping software.

What makes DocMe different:

- Not OCR. Several AI models read each document independently and compare results. DocMe handles handwriting, faded receipts, tilted phone photos and imperfect scans, and rebuilds mixed Hebrew/English documents in the right order.
- Automatic vendor detection by company ID (ח"פ), business number, phone or name - even when the invoice spells the name differently - mapped to the right accounts.
- A smart rules engine: set a default debit account, VAT code, transaction classification and withholding percentage per vendor, plus AI-based rules that correct results according to your own business logic. The system learns from your corrections.
- Built-in validation: amounts, dates and duplicates are cross-checked, and anything that doesn't add up is flagged for review instead of guessed.
- Automatic credit card reconciliation: invoices are matched to the corresponding lines on bank and credit card statements.
